Hop Cet été se ddérouleront des giant cup 1v1 sur les 3 tm organisé par electronic tournament Smile
Plus d'infos dans le post de mazzy : mazzyfred a écrit: Hello guys.
I hope you were not wishing to be left alone during the summer because it is not going to happen. Yes, the Giant Cup is back for its 4th edition, and this time, we will indeed have 3 Giants cups running at the same time on the three different version of the game. The logical consequence to this is that we are going to have no less than 3 champions at the end of the playoffs (sometimes in November/December).
But before registering, please try to - not register if you know you wont be around for the entire summer - only register to more than one GC4 competition if you are sure you will have the time to play
Because it is definitely not fun to have a majority of ghost in the divisions.
Which are the major changes compared to the Giant Cup 3 (which was played on TM Sunrise) ?
- there will not be divisions for July and divisions for August, but we will instead have divisions open until September 15, which will allow for people unable to meet during July and August to eventually play their games in early September. - for the regular season (10-12 players per division), we will use the scoring system of the LE7, with a bonus point allowed to the driver losing 2-1 while scoring a higher number of runs (so for instance when the score ends on 7-6 7-5 0-7 or 14-1FPRIVATE "TYPE=PICT;ALT=Cool" . For the playoffs, the system will remain unchanged, with the first driver scoring two maps going to the next round. Only the maps win and losses will determine the standings. A 2-1 defeat will give the losing player 1 point. A 2-2 draw will give each player 2 points. If players cannot find an agreement to play a game before September 15, both players will receive 0 points. - the map pack will only have 9 maps for the regular season. Before the game, each player will eliminate three maps from the map pack (1 by surface). After each player announce the maps he plans to eliminate on the map pack, there should be 3 maps left in the map pack. The advantage of this system are numerous. Most importantly, you are sure to never have to play a map you wouldnt like. And furthermore, you will only have to train 6 maps in the pack, so this will allow much less training time than before. And it will also lower the advantage to players who only announce their maps 10 minutes before the game.
As usual, please read carefully the rules before registering.
Registration should remain open until early July 3rd, and the map packs should be available shortly before that date.
